Comprehensive Insurance

Motor Vehicle Insurance not only covers your car for accidental damage, theft and fire - it also gives you liability cover for damage you may cause to someone else’s car or property.

Comprehensive insurance on your vehicle if under finance is a legal requirement. We at Statewide have long established relationships with a range of insurance companies, allowing us to cater for your insurance needs.

Consumer Credit Insurance

What if I get sick, can’t work or become disabled?

We can offer insurance that can help protect you in the event of an unanticipated situation. This insurance is called Consumer Credit Insurance (CCI).

This is an optional insurance which is designed to help protect you in the event of death, disability or unemployment. This insurance can also be added to your loan amount, subject to our lenders criteria.

Gap Insurance

Also known as Shortfall Insurance, this is the difference between what you owe to the financier and what your insurance company is going to pay out if your vehicle has been written off.

There are several reasons why the "gap" occurs. This can include borrowing to pay for various costs associated with buying a car - such as on road costs - and value falling faster than the loan balance.
